Prayers
Life can change so quickly. Don't ever think for one minute that 'it can't happen to me'. This Thanksgiving evening we are in prayer for my great aunt, her son, and their family. My second cousin fell last night and suffered a terrible injury. After emergency surgery, he is on a breathing machine and the outlook is not good. It's been a very difficult year for them, in many aspects of life. It's been a very difficult year for many of our family members...ourselves included...but tragic accidents like these bring everything into perspective.
Never take your family for granted. Tell them each day you love them and thank God for all you have.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving! What are you thankful? Me...well, I'm thankful for way too many things to list them all here, but here's a few!!

Just checking?
Does anyone still read KeepingUpWithUs anymore? Our hits are through the roof every day, but we never get any comments left, e-mails about our posts, or anything. Are we just wasting our time updating here for people who are too cowardly to stay in touch?

Hand-made ... Not imported!
Someone recently came into our shop and asked, "Wow! Where do you get your things? They're all so lovely!" She was astounded to find out we make everything in our shop! Our pieces are very high quality and we put a lot of time and effort into making each and every item. There's nothing imported in our shop! Down to the supplies we purchase to make things...all made right here in the USA!
There is way too much business going overseas. We all need to support local businesses more; otherwise there won't be any local businesses left to support!
Please keep us in mind when you start your holiday shopping. Our soy candles and ceramic items make wonderful, one-of-a-kind gifts, and we have a huge variety of holiday decorations as well!
