Taking a break to update!
Wow! The past few months have been so busy that we haven't had much time to update everyone here! So, this morning before I get started on more shop preparations, I decided to update!
As you've probably already read, we're opening our shop in Downtown Historic Liberty in August. We'll start moving everything in and getting it arranged in July and we've been super busy these past few weeks getting our inventory and supplies ready. We're all very excited and can't wait for our grand opening! Be sure to keep watch on our sites for grand opening details!! (TheSixScents.com MuleDeerJack.com)
AJ is doing great! He's grown up so much over the past six months. He's super tall...up to my ribs already...and weighs just over 50 pounds! No one can believe that he just turned 4. Every place we go people ask why he's not in school or what grade he'll be in this fall! He's on the waiting list for Pre-school at the Second Baptist church downtown, just two blocks from the shop. We're very hopeful that a space will open up for him before school starts in August, but if not, we've got the plan in place to homeschool him. (the classroom portion of our shop has got a great place for him!) He's turning in to quite the salesman already! At the market on Saturdays he's telling people to buy our candles because they smell great and are clean burning and he tells everyone who will listen that we're opening a shop!
Keith is doing really good. He was moved to the station just 2 miles from our house about 5 months ago and he really loves working this close to the house. His back is doing so much better. Once we moved to the single level home, his pain levels went down enough that he could begin the at-home physical therapy. Things have definitely been improving and we're very thankful for that!
Archery season begins in three months and we went out a few times last week to check on the herd. We were all very excited to learn that the property did not sell at the auction so we'll have it to hunt for at least one more year! The herd is doing good and the bucks are growing! I got some really good pictures a few nights ago and will try to get them posted soon.
I guess that's about all for this time. There's a ton of things to get done still this week, so I need to get back to it! Thanks for checking in and don't forget, your feedback is welcome!
